Costa Rica: Holcim Costa Rica has reportedly begun the sale of its Holcim Modular Solutions precast concrete plant in Guápiles, Limón, to Bloques Pedregal. The La Nación newspaper has reported that the producer has filed the transaction with the General Superintendency of Securities and is awaiting competition approval from the Commission for the Promotion of Competition.
Holcim Costa Rica previously inaugurated its US$650,000 Agua Caliente concrete plant in Cartago in late 2024 and acquired AMCO’s ready-mix concrete business from Grupo América for US$5.4m in January 2025.
