UK: Easymix Concrete UK has acquired a depot in Rainham, London, from fellow ready-mix concrete producer Mix N Lay. The Construction Enquirer newspaper has reported that Easymix Concrete UK expects the site to expand its market access across London and surrounding counties. As part of its plan to tap this potential, the company will invest in a new, ‘modern’ ready-mix concrete plant at the site.
Mix N Lay recently entered administration as a result of rising costs.
Easymix Concrete UK director Steve Brown said "Mix N Lay is one of the longest-standing ready-mix concrete companies across East London and Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to expand our business in what we believe is a fantastic location."
