Canada: Lafarge Canada's ready-mix concrete plant in Arthur, Ontario, officially re-opened on 1 May 2025, after closing. It previously shut in 2020 amid a local cement shortage due to Covid-19 lockdowns. Local press has reported that the reopened plant will employ five people, as it did previously.
