Kyrgyzstan: The State Architectural and Construction Control Department (GosStroy) issued fines worth US$11,400 following inspections of 25 facilities serving the construction industry, including multiple ready-mix concrete plants. Central Asia News has reported that the facilities were operating without proper permits. Fined businesses included civil engineering firms Aral-Boom State Enterprise, Avira Group and Mostostroy Otryad State Enterprise and property developer Bishkek Invest. GosStroy issued orders with deadlines for rectification.
