Indonesia: Japan-based Obayashi Corporation has commenced the supply of its CleanCrete alternative cement in Indonesia, after completing its first overseas trial there. Obayashi Corporation supplied the cement for a successful pour of ready-mix concrete at a data centre construction site earlier in 2026. Local partner Pionirbeton Industri has now begun production of under-30%-clinker ready-mix concrete using CleanCrete cement. The product reduces embodied CO₂ by 60% compared with conventional concrete.
